About Me

I'm a designer at Vontas, where I've spent the last four years designing software for field supervisors, bus operators, and dispatchers at more than forty public transit agencies across the US and Canada.

I care about designing for people doing complex work under real constraints.

My path into product design wasn't direct. I studied studio art, then spent eight years as a postpartum doula, which gave me a lot of practice adapting to different kinds of people, listening closely, and sitting with problems that don't have tidy answers. Those instincts shape how I run research now. I joined Vontas four years ago and built the company's first structured research practice from scratch.

I like looking upstream, taking time to understand a complex system and find the simpler shape underneath. I work closely with engineering, QA, customer engineers, product, and sales, because cross-team collaboration leads to stronger solutions.

Outside of work, I enjoy camping, bar trivia, Baller's games, planning medium-complex outings for my friends, and walking my pup.
